Dell DJ vs. Apple iPOD

Here's one person's opinion about the iPOD: (by Chris Rush Cohen)
My own experience is that iPods are very problematic, mine regularly wipes its memory and needs its OS reloaded multiple times in a row. Also, if you own a PC you can't charge the iPod while it is plugged into the computer (unlike with Apples) so you can only load part of your playlist at a time between recharges (if it dies during an upload prepare to reload the OS again). Also, the battery on my iPod dies after only a few hours of use (and yes, I've turned off all the battery draining options like the light and equalizer, etc.). Basically, if you buy the iPod you are paying for Apple's marketing campaign but getting less in terms of technology.

Here's my opinion of the Dell DJ 20GB which I currently own:
The Dell DJ is one of the best MP3 players I have ever owned. It has a storage capacity of 9,900 songs and can hold 20GB of data.

Now you ask, What do you mean by it can hold data?

Here's the answer: The Dell Dj also functions as a portable hard drive allowing you to save files from your computer to the Dell DJ.

Another cool feature is that it has a built-in voice recorder which means it can record sound and save it as an mp3 file.

One Lie about the iPOD mini:
"The World's Smallest 1000-song player"-Apple's Website
--That is a lie. The Dell Pocket DJ is the SAME SIZE and holds 2500 songs. 1500 more than the iPOD mini--

Hope this helps all of you mp3 player seeking consumers!

I have used both and would have to say the dell works better for me,The i pod on the other hand has gave me problems, i do not own one now but have in the past.
I stored a lot of stuff on the i-pod and it seems to erase it, The dell has been great for men.
